feng shui-ing it up!

My mom is super into Feng Shui so she put these images into the career center of my room. My new dream job is to work for the circus. Hopefully this feng shui stuff works:)

Life's just a day at the beach

This weeks's theme is 'the beach' since I've been there after work three times this week. I took this picture at one of our neighborhood beaches.

A day late ....

I tried to get a good picture of this but I was also trying to pay attention to driving on a bridge. The building you can kind of see is San Quentin prison. Its the death row prison near me. Charles Manson was there for awhile and Scott Peterson is there now. It always kind of creeps me out.

I did not try this for fear of it being super gross, but it sure looked interesting :)

Cold Feet

Even though I have a lot of hats to finish I decided to try something new. I am pretty Happy with how these came out and they keep my feet warm!!!!!!!

So since I'm unemployed I decided I'm going to take up ballet again. I haven't done it since I was like seven. It should be interesting but I'm all prepared! I have my leotard, my new tights, and of course a new pair of shoes! Wish me luck!!

Creepy Beaver...nooooo, not that kind :)

The Astor Place subway station is among the original 28 subway stations, and is on the List of Registered Historic Places in New York. The tile mosaics on the station platform feature beavers, a tribute to John Jacob Astor, whose fortune was founded in beaver-pelt trading. And at night they come to life and gnaw on drunk NYU students' toes!
